The above reaction indicates that the produced CaSO3 still has the ability to remove SO2. However, Ca(HSO3)2 does not have this ability.
According to the above reaction process, after the desulfurization system removes SO2 with Ca(OH)2, it will be mainly discharged in the form of Ca(HSO3)2.
